Managing Seats

Tini Subscriptions offer a few ways to manage a large number of users.

When is a "seat" used?

A seat is taken only if a user is a part of a team. Whether a user is a admin, manager, team manager, or normal user, they will take up a seat if they are a part of a team. Users that aren't a part of teams will not take up a seat.

Workspace Member Types

Users are "workspace members" in Kaituhi as a user may be a part of many workspaces. Below are the four types of roles users in Tini Subscriptions may assume.

Admins

Workspace Admins can make changes to the Workspace including changes related to subscriptions, data retention policies, and workspace membership. They can also create and manage users within Teams in a Workspace.

Managers

Managers of a workspace can manage workspace memberships. They can also create and manage users within Teams in a Workspace.

Team Managers

Team Managers can manage the users of a team.

Transcribers (normal users)

Transcribers can't manage any workspace or membership features. They can access the teams they're a part of and upload content to those teams.
