Linking to the Whare Kōrero Player
You can link directly to your radio station in the Whare Kōrero. The link to your radio station will look like https://whr.nz/r.290. Below is an example of the web player. You'll see that people can also access other content in your Whare. In a future update, when your audience open your radio link, it will take them directly to the Whare Kōrero app if it's installed.
Embedding the player
You can embed the radio player into your website as an iframe. The player will collect analytics for you that will show up in the Whare Kōrero. Here is the an example code to put into your website,

You can make the play button any size. The width and height should be the same values.
The player is a simple play button that is colored to the the brand color of your radio station as in the Whare Kōrero app.
NOTE: If users prevent cross-site tracking, analytics won't be collected from the embedded radio player. That's a privacy measure we can't avoid in this scenario. Linking them to the website as outlined above will be able to collect analytics for radio plays and duration.

Te Matatini Broadcast
If you are taking the Te Matatini broadcast, please let us know awhi@wharekorero.nz
By using the Whare Kōrero radio players, we'll ensure that your streams are geofenced for Aotearoa during the Te Matatini broadcast as requested by Te Matatini. What this means is that people outside of Aotearoa won't be able to play your radio stream during the scheduled hours of Te Matatini broadcast. Audiences will be alerted to a message if they are outside of Aotearoa during those times.
If you will not be taking the broadcast, then you do not have to worry about the geofencing and your stream will play as normal. Please advise if you are not taking the broadcast.
